Dear Old Michaelian,

Just 28 days ‘til the next annual OMA Reunion weekend in Hunstanton and I hope that all of you have already planned to join us all for another successful and thoroughly enjoyable weekend in NW Norfolk at the Le Strange Arms Hotel, Old Hunstanton.

 We are all delighted to report that reservations for our Reunion Dinner on Saturday

 28 October 2017 is looking very healthy and I would advise you to ensure that a place is reserved for you and your partner by contacting Ruth Chilvers now and ensuring your place(s).

Your copy of the 2017 ‘Mitre’ will confirm all the vital details, together with the Booking Form, you need to know about timings of events during the weekend and we hope that many of you will be able to join us at the Le Strange Arms Hotel for the OMA Annual General Meeting that will begin promptly at 3:30pm.

There will be much to discuss during the meeting that will directly affect future OMA  Reunion weekends and I am sure you will want to have the chance of voicing your own opinions. In addition, it will be necessary to elect a new OMA Chairman to ensure we have a suitable ‘Captain’ to steer our ship over the next three years. So please, continue to support your Association and please encourage any other OM’s, who you may know, to do the same.

2018 will be a very important year for the Association as we plan to celebrate the 65^th Anniversary of the OMA over the weekend of 27/28 October 2018. More information will be provided to all OM’s at the next AGM and, be assured, you will be provided with much more detail in the two OMA publications next year. However, place these dates into your 2018 diaries NOW please and avoid missing this important event for the OMA.
